I have understood the full meaning of this proverb long ago,but its only today i read this. I'm not being overbearing while saying this. But i know that it is not enough that i understand ,so i'm writing this page for all those who care for our dear children. i mentioned our children so that at least those of us who are parents will take a moment to think .... to think of a state where a tree will be seen as a specimen. (Yesterday there was a report from north India where a women was killed for water). most of us who have read the news might have thought it will never happen in a civilized society. but no this will happen to me and you and our children when we will count the drops of water we drink. It's time we all consider this as a vital moment.Planting trees is the only immediate thing that an individual can do. There are many organizations which have been doing this. One such NGO is 'trees for free' operating in bangalore.(trees for free.org). today with their help some 70 volunteers planted around 700 tree.I'm happy that i was one among them.
